Who We Are - The Closet Guy Team:
TCG (The Closet Guy) – Brooke Peterson
In 2002, we founded The Closet Guy based on the simple yet profound truth that “there’s gotta be a better way.” Since then, I have spent my time creating better ways to store your stuff. Designing and building beautiful and functional closets is something I love doing. It’s fun to come up with a workable plan for unique and challenging spaces that most people would look at as hopelessly impossible.
TCG- (Mrs. Closet Guy) – Amy Peterson
I joined the company full-time in June of 2006. I quit my job in the legal profession to help Brooke run the company. I take care of the bookkeeping and customer contacts and marketing.
In addition, I run organizeUtoo a division of The Closet Guy. This part of The Closet Guy provides organizational services. Please take a few minutes to check it out and see if we can't help you get organized.

TCG – Porter Peterson (age 14; 2012) After we made the decision to launch a custom closet company, we needed a name. After narrowing the field to just a few possibilities, we decided to consult an expert; our then-five-year-old son Porter. He declared in his very matter of fact manner “I think you should be the closet guy”. We loved the name! Porter has continued to be a creative force behind many of our marketing ideas. Now he is old enough to help with installations. | TCG – Bay Peterson (age 11; 2012) Bay was only two when we started the company but he was the first one in our family to have a Closet Guy closet! He began as an inventory specialist assisting in counting products. Now he helps out in the warehouse and is a great worker. | TCG – Marina Peterson (age 7; 2012) Marina has been a special assistant to Mrs. Closet Guy, Amy Peterson since she was two years old. She ran errands with mom until she started kindergarten. Her organizing skills are improving and we see a big future with The Closet Guy for Marina. |
